Le applicazioni principali si trovano nell\u2019industria automobilistica, dove viene utilizzato per i pezzi dei sistemi di scarico. la tipica finitura delle lamiere laminate a caldo. E&#8217; ottenibile per laminazione a caldo, successivo trattamento termico di ricottura, ricristallizzazione o solubilizzazione, seguita infine da un trattamento di decapaggio mediante uno o pi\u00f9 bagni in soluzione acida.<br \/>\nL&#8217;aspetto \u00e8 grigio-argenteo opaco e risulta, al tatto, poco levigato.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div align=\"justify\">\n<p><strong>Finitura n\u00b0 2D (D = dull, opaco)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>E&#8217; la finitura che si ottiene per laminazione a freddo con riduzione di spessore di almeno il 20% su nastri gi\u00e0 laminati a caldo di finitura n\u00b01, trattate termicamente e decapate. Alla laminazione a freddo segue un trattamento di addolcimento (ricottura, ricristallizzazione o solubilizzazione) e poi il decapaggio. La superficie non \u00e8 riflettente, ma risulta pi\u00f9 levigata della finitura n\u00b01, grazie alla laminazione a freddo subita. Inoltre lo spessore \u00e8 molto pi\u00f9 costante e con tolleranze pi\u00f9 ristrette.<br \/>\nL&#8217;aspetto \u00e8 grigio-argenteo, opaco e liscio.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div align=\"justify\">\n<p><strong>Finitura n\u00b0 2B (B = bright, brillante)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>E&#8217; la finitura pi\u00f9 diffusa ed \u00e8 ottenuta sui nastri di finitura 2D mediante laminazione a freddo (skin-pass) con cilindri lucidi. Il suo aspetto \u00e8 grigio-argenteo brillante liscio.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div align=\"justify\">\n<p><strong>Finitura BA (BA = bright annealed, ricottura brillante)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>E&#8217; la finitura dei laminati a freddo ottenuta per trattamento termico di ricottura, ricristallizzazione o solubilizzazione, in atmosfera inerte dopo la laminazione a la successiva sgrossatura. (Scotch Brite)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Questo tipo di finitura superficiale unidirezionale \u00e8 ottenuta mediante spazzolatura.<br \/>\nLa spazzolatura viene eseguita con apposite spazzole a grana media , fine ed extrafine che provocano delle leggere incisioni sulla superficie dell&#8217;acciaio.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div align=\"justify\">\n<p><strong>Satinatura<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Finitura duplo ottenuta attraverso un primo passaggio di satinatura e un secondo di spazzolatura per ridurre le creste di rugosit\u00e0.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div align=\"justify\">\n<p><strong>Fiorettatura <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>E\u2019 una particolare finitura di lucidatura circolare sovrapposta ed incrociata chiamata appunto Fiorettatura.
